EALSOC
EALSOC is a non-profit and non-commercial organization that aims to make efforts to create a safe environment for the civilian population. Primarily, we are concerned with the rights and interests of civilian population groups who find themselves in various life situations, trying to help or positively contribute to them as much as possible. To achieve such goals, we implement our human rights, informational, methodological, humanitarian, and charitable programs.
The budget of EALSOC is made up of membership fees and donations, donor contributions and grants, investments, and in-kind donations of material values, and is based on the principles of transparency. EALSOC does not receive funding from any government programs or political parties. We conduct personal training, consultations, and legal research in the direction of creating an effective model of socio-administrative interaction of civil society and the civilian population with government bodies to improve the environment. Our ongoing interaction is conducted with both individuals and public organizations, charitable foundations.
Since the beginning of the decentralization reform in Ukraine, central government bodies have been transferring powers to regions and local communities. The task of local self-government reform is to create such a capable community that can resolve issues of local importance. The community has become a key figure that independently determines its priorities in safety, environmental sphere, health care, the realization of residents' rights, and other activities aimed at creating a safe environment in its territory.
People may have different views on situations, but this should not be a cause for dispute, but rather a stimulus for cohesion and joint overcoming of current problems. Everyone understands that cohesion and the active position of people increase the ability to resist negative phenomena.
Not only when something has already happened but also to be able to independently make decisions in advance regarding improving safety and quality of life in communities.
Safety is a concept that encompasses all aspects of human life. Often, the level of safety is only associated with the state of the criminogenic situation, but there are many other possible threats: environmental problems and negative environmental environment, lack of access to quality drinking water, illegal logging, corruption risks, inaction of responsible persons and authorities. Not to mention other terrible threats to life and health, such as military aggression, extremism, terrorism, etc. A safe environment is a fundamental right of every person since it is an important component for their well-being and quality of life, the creation of strong social bonds, family relations, socio-economic development, and the acquisition of cultural heritage.
