Humanitarian aid programs from EALSOC
Since February 2022, the civilian population of Donetsk region has been forced to face military aggression from the Russian Federation for the second time.
Many people were forced to leave everything they had in order to save their lives. The main part of the population is evacuated to the nearest safe regions with a minimal set of belongings. The civilian population inevitably faces difficulties due to the lack of normal water supply and electricity.
In addition, there are problems with access to drinking water.
Today, due to the imposition of martial law in Ukraine, EALSOC, as part of the implementation of humanitarian programs, is continuously searching for assistance to provide to the civilians of Donetsk region.
We are working to ensure that the residents do not remain unnoticed in this matter and continue to work towards attracting humanitarian aid.

Humanitarian situation
As of 2023, the Kostiantynivka community is home to about 40,000 people. Among them:
-
Pensioners – about 20,000;
-
Children and youth – about 5,000;
-
Internally displaced persons – about 5,000;
-
People with disabilities – about 4,000.
Currently, about 40,000 residents of the Kostiantynivka community are on the brink of a humanitarian crisis. The peaceful population faces inevitable difficulties due to the lack of normal water supply and electricity, as well as an urgent need for the community to function during the heating period. Additionally, there are problems with access to drinking water.
The humanitarian project is aimed at addressing the problems of the civilian population of the territorial community who have directly faced military actions or need assistance to eliminate their consequences and have found themselves in difficult living conditions due to these events. The project's goal is to provide access to essential resources (water and food, repair and equipment of damaged housing, and restoration of satisfactory living conditions, provision of hygiene products). The project is planned to be implemented for the residents to alleviate the community's existing problems caused by military actions.
